Guy Phillipson is a non-executive director of FaR. Guy is one of, if not the, most influential people in digital media in the UK.
Guy was appointed CEO of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) in 2005. During his tenure, UK online ad revenues have increased from £825m to £4.1bn — representing a world record 24% of total media expenditure.
Guy is also Chairman of IAB Europe, and in 2006 he was named Digital Business Person of the Year by Revolution. Phillipson is a former head of advertising at Vodafone.
